Number of cattle infected with BVD falls in Northern Ireland

Some good news as the number of BVD cases falls.

The number of animals Persistently Infected with Bovine Viral Diarrhoea (BVD) in Northern Ireland fell by more than 200 in the two months leading up to the New Year. The latest figures from Animal Health and Welfare NI show that in November and December, the total number of these cattle dropped from 908 to 690.
