Restrictions at bird flu case farm lifted

Restrictions have been lifted on a Scottish farm which had a suspected case of bird flu. A Scottish Government spokesman said a mild strain of non-notifiable avian influenza had been found following routine investigations, and restrictions on the site have now been lifted. NFU Scotland said the case in a free-range laying flock was thought to have been contracted from wild birds.
